Product Description
P3XD series dump valves automatically shut upstream pressure and exhaust the downstream pressure as a 3-port, 2-position directional control valve with high flow to protect the pneumatic system. The quick dump valves are high flow, normally closed, 3-port, 2-position directional control valves. Upon energising the solenoid, inlet air is applied to the top of the piston. The piston pushes against the spring and opens the main valve, providing full air flow to the downstream. When the solenoid is de-energised, the main valve closes, allowing downstream air to exhaust rapidly through the side port. The side port is tapped so exhaust may be piped away or fitted with a muffler/silencer. The P3XD dump valve can be mounted using a modular connector to other P3X air preparation products.
