Product Description
Global FRL Programmable Electronic Proportional Regulators allow for regulation of outlet pressure proportionally to an electrical control signal in order to deliver best performance and reliability. These units utilize an onboard user friendly LED display for changing and customizing parameters such as adjustment of pressure limits, control signal (0-10V or 4-20mA), output signal, set pressure scale (PSIG, bar, Mpa), minimum and/or maximum pressure, and behavior control. Units can be ordered in normally closed (NC) or forced exhaust normally open (NO) versions. For the forced exhaust version, when supply voltage is lost, the unit will automatically exhaust the regulated pressure to zero. Internal pulse-width modulated valves control the output pressure proportionally to an analogue input control signal of 0-10V or 4-20mA.
The unit is comprised of a piston operated pneumatic pressure regulator controlled by a closed loop system. An internal pressure sensor measures the output pressure of the regulator and provides a feedback signal to the controller. Any difference between the set point and feedback is converted to a digital signal which will energize either of the internal solenoid valves to correct the output pressure of the regulator.
